Bad news and good news…

Bad news first – we won’t be at the next Perth upmarket due to personal committments.

But the good news is that we are having a 20% off sale! It’s for 2 weeks only so get in fast. As some of our items are limited in number, get in quick before it we run out! As always, if you have a specific request/ large order, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Thanks to everyone that braved the cold and came out for Perth Upmarket yesterday. It was wintery outside but gorgeous and welcoming inside!

We had a ball and met lots of people. Being in a different logistcally meant we had to haul all our stuff a little further but it was worth it 🙂 We sold lots of cupcake wrappers, some of our new necklace/ jewellery range and of course, our cards.  We’ll need to stock take and update our website but if you want something that we had on the day, please let us know.

For those that asked/those that are thinking about it, please feel free to email us if you would like a special bulk or wholesale order. We are always more than willing to try and work with you and your needs!

The countdown is on!

We’re counting down to Perth Upmarket this Sunday and the weather will be fine so pop down and see us at Winthrop hall! We’ll have lots of new goodies 🙂

I’ve always wondered what it would be like to open a shop or set up a stall and now I know there is a lot of hard work that goes on in the background that customers just don’t see. But it is all part of the fun and the stallholders we have met have been lovely and really friendly.

As I might have said in a previous post, we may not be attending any future Perth Upmarkets, depending on the direction of huckleberry hill.  We have some ideas in the pipeline which we are still toying with but we aren’t planning on shutting down our website/webstore. On the contrary, we will probably be adding to the goodies there.

If you are interested in placing wholesale orders, come and see us on Sunday as it is often easier to see our cards/paper/goodies in the flesh rather than on the net. We are looking to expand our wholesale distribution so this line of our business is definitely a focus area for us in the future.

Anyway, enough about future plans – this week is all about Perth Upmarket and we hope you will come by and say hi!

Perth Upmarket 26th June!

We are excited to be at Perth Upmarket again on 26 June. We’ll be in Winthrop Hall so come and visit us! Lots of new wrapping paper, plus we have restocked some of the items we sold out of last time.

As always, we’ll have some Perth Upmarket exclusive specials so don’t miss out!

We are thinking about the direction of huckleberry hill so we may or may not be at any more future Perth Upmarkets – so we would love to see you at our stall 🙂

We just can’t get enough…

.. of gorgeous wrapping paper!

We have just put in our order new wrapping paper and have restocked some of the paper that we sold out of at Upmarket. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to restock everything (we are working on it!) but we are very excited about some of the new papers we are bringing in.  Here are some of the new papers we will be getting:

Thanks to everyone that popped by to our store on Sunday at Perth Upmarket. Total chaos in the morning as we only had 1 hour to set up instead of our usual 2 hours, so for those that came early and saw all the mess, our apologies! We finally got everything sorted and organised shortly after open – whew!

It was really good to meet everyone that stopped by and thanks for all the lovely comments.  We sold out of most of our wrapping paper, especially the vintage Paris map paper (which is my favourite!) but we will get more in stock. If there is any paper that you particularly liked on our site but which is sold out, please let us know as we will be getting more in.

We also had a successful launch of our new vintage jewellery line. We haven’t uploaded any pictures of our jewellery on our site yet – that will come later – but we are very excited about it as we love all things vintage.

It may seem odd for a company that sells cards, wrapping paper and other paper related products to sell jewellery, but the great thing about having our own company is that we get to try something new.  Huckleberry hill is a constantly evolving company and we are always thinking about how to expand our range to cater for different tastes.  Some things may work and some things may not, but we love the freedom to create and bring new things to the table.

Anyway, we hope you had a great time at Perth Upmarket. The Perth Upmarket team always do a fantastic job and there are lots of things that happen behind the scenes that you don’t see but which make a big difference.

Keep 20 March free!

We have been confirmed to be at Perth Upmarket again on 20 March in the beautiful grounds of UWA.  Hopefully the weather will be kinda this time around and bless us with milder temperatures and clear skies!

Come and pop in and say hi. We’ll have our new gorgeous wrapping paper and tape plus a launch of a new range – but we can’t tell you any more at this stage! You will have to visit to find out 🙂

In the meantime we are busy with the preparations so blogging will be put on hiatus until then.

The latest trend in stationery

Patterned tape! Yes, this is the latest trend in stationery. Gorgeous, cute, classic, you name it, there is a tape for it! We have just received our first shipment of patterned tape. From classic floral patterns, to cute little prints, we have the tape for you.

The possibilities and options are endless. Use it to wrap presents (from our beautiful wrapping paper range!), create cute little gift tags, to craft projects and tags for your notes/files.
